Appointments are required for most services, including passport applications and notary services. Please be sure to identify the correct service that you wish to receive and carefully read all of the information provided. Once you have read through the relevant instructions, you will be given the opportunity to schedule an appointment.
Emergency services, Selective Service registration, and voting assistance are available on a walk-in basis during public hours: 8:30 am - 12:00 noon on any business day. We are closed on American and Canadian holidays.
For Americans in need of legal assistance, they may choose to consult a list of attorneys who reside in the consular district, and who are believed to be qualified to perform legal services on behalf of U.S. citizens or firms.

Consular Services in Winnipeg
Consular Services available in Winnipeg, Monday September 30th to Wednesday October 2nd, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. A consular officer from the United States Consulate General in Calgary will be in Winnipeg on September 30th, October 1st and October 2nd (morning only), in order to provide consular services to U.S. citizens. The Officer will be available from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm CST on Monday and Tuesday and 8:15 am – 11:45 am CST on Wednesday, to take applications for passports and birth registrations only.
